ACL 5 Low: Sense of Learning by Overt Trial & Error

By Anonymous (not verified), 5 March, 2025

Motor control adds eye-hand coordination in small spaces, bilateral hand coordination, learning new uses of their hands and tools to change material objects, and carrying / moving objects (such as wheelchairs) around safely. The person is now able to store mental images in their short-term memory which can last up to about 30 to 45 seconds. Their actions cause effects that are guided by mental cause and effect connections. The person uses the connections to guide motor actions, produce different effects, compare effects, evaluate effects, remember effects and conform to standards for the quality of acceptable effects. Advice and verbal instructions from other people may not make sense to the person as they lack the ability to form a mental image without a demonstration.
