Attention is captured by demonstrations, written and verbal directions that explain the secondary effects of spatial fit.

Directions are processed in blocks of directives. Questions are asked to confirm stated hypotheses about the assembly, time, and purpose of the activity prior to the execution of actions.

Within ACL 5.8, they are able to design a pattern or a sequence of actions by imagining changes in present material objects and interpreting exploded diagrams.

Problems with alignment, displacement, accuracy, safety in tight/small spaces, conservation of materials, their own energy conservation, and time are anticipated. Adjustment in their own pace is initiated to conform to external time constraints.

They may use images to design 3D patterns.
