Within ACL 6, the person plans and implements housekeeping and home maintenance tasks. They may solve problems involving secondary consequences as well as abstract concepts. They may solve problems involving surface or spatial properties (e.g. wet patches on floor, streaks on glass, crumbs or dust on surfaces, etc.). They may solve problems involving spatial fit in order to avoid harmful effects (e.g. avoiding potential damage to walls, countertops from sharp instruments, etc.). They may avoid damages due to unseen forces such as avoiding overloading electrical outlets, plumbing problems related to putting too much or improper food in garbage disposal, or too much paper in toilet.
Within ACL 6, they are able to effectively vary range of motion and strength while sweeping, mopping, polishing, and cleaning to produce better results without assistance. New sequence of actions (how to use a new product) may be planned and executed independently.
Within ACL 6, the person may change pace while working. They may consider surface, spatial and intangible properties. They may set and follow a weekly schedule of housekeeping activities. They may organise cupboards and drawers for most efficient object retrieval. They will store toxins away from food items and ensure adequate ventilation for toxic cleaning agents.
