Many people functioning within ACL 4.8 are able to read and follow schedules and checklists without additional reminders. Daily planners may be helpful.
If they will attempt to read simple instructions, they usually follow them, one step at a time. They may skip portions and often request frequent verification. They may draw on their memory for a list of information related to the activity.
When uncertain, they usually seek verification of the correct action sequence by asking others or rechecking written directions.
They can communicate with expressions of verification or annoyance about the effects of their actions when they are noticed. They may also respond to similar expressions from others.
When something breaks or an accident happens, they often excuse themselves or try to make amends for the damage done.
