Their best ability to function is their capacity to invent simple changes in striking cues and overlap different shapes of material objects. Routine tasks without any deviation from their customary procedures are done within customary to slightly slower time periods. Their information processing speed picks up to a rate that is almost within normal limits and that too raises expectations about what they can still do.
Their biggest problem is that they see all of the possible activities that they could be doing, but cannot comprehend their limited capacity to do them. Their inventions are really slight modifications of the physical environment. Adjustments higher than striking cues and overlaps are not considered relevant by the person, but they are relevant to others. Social conflicts around social and personal expectations, and the realities of what they can do, cause frequent and serious social problems.
