Secondary consequences are paid attention to if it is tangible. Intangible secondary consequences such as negative effects due to poor medication compliance maybe ignored. Caregiver will need to explain these secondary effects and monitor medication compliance. The doctor will need to be notified if non-compliance is dangerous. If there are a few tablets being taken at regular intervals, a pill box maybe used to help with compliance.
