Typing is a skill which can be learnt when a person is functioning within ACL 5 Low. The person has the ability to use information stored in their short-term memory to write a paragraph of information. The person's skill level in completing this task will be dependent on past training and experiences. Analysis of information being written will depend on repetitive training on how to structure their argument.

Structured typing programs can help the person learn to use muscle memory for correct finger placement to increase the speed and accuracy for using a keyboard. One example of a typing program (beginner packages are free) is https://www.typingclub.com. There are fun games to help maintain the person's attention.
