Functioning in ACL 5.2, they will require assistance solving problems involving spatial fit in order to avoid harmful effects (e.g. potential damage to walls, countertops from sharp instruments, electrical load tolerances for outlets, contamination of food from improper storage of toxic cleaning products, plumbing problems related to putting too much or improper food in garbage disposal, or too much paper in toilet).

Within ACL 5, they are able to effectively vary range of motion and strength while sweeping, mopping, polishing, and cleaning to produce better results without assistance. New sequence of actions (how to use a new product) may be learnt via demonstrations using several steps at a time.

Caregiver assists with organizing cupboards and drawers for most efficient object retrieval.

Remove access to power tools, highly flammable items, toxins, cutting tools (knives, saw, shovel), and hot tools (iron, glue gun, stove), unless supervised.
