Hair & Nail Care
Within ACL 5 Low, the person is able to complete their hair and nail care with standby supervision to identify potentially harmful effects of actions. They may need reminders to keep appointments.
Within ACL 5.0, the person will need cueing to attend to unseen surface properties (under nails).
Oral Hygiene
The person is able to vary the use of equipment to discover better methods for maintaining oral hygiene. If the person needs to use new equipment, provide a demonstration within ACL 5 Low.
Grooming
Within ACL 5 Low, the person may argue with suggestions to change selections.
The person, within ACL 5.0, will not consider surface appearance (blending of makeup, incomplete shaving).
Prevent allergies, chemical reactions, and fires by checking precautions on grooming supplies before independent use.
