Picture Albums at Night

By Anonymous (not verified), 5 March, 2025

People may spontaneously follow a routine for looking at a picture album before going to sleep at night. Within ACL 4, they rarely watch TV and they need something to do to settle down.

Individual albums to look at in the evening may reduce troublesome behavior associated with that time of day because their personal identity is protected by looking at the pictures. Someone to ask questions about their memories may add to their reassurance as they describe them. Telling the same story every day is reassuring for many people. Turn the television off when it is merely a distraction.

Personal picture albums of family and friends need to be left in plain sight or in their top drawer because they rarely look anywhere else.

Snapshots with a lot of fuzzy background can be cropped rather easily and cheaply these days. An enlargement can be made so they can see facial features easily. Telling family and friends what and how much may be valuable information for them. Laminating the pictures and placing them in 3-ring binders may help protect them. The person can state preferences about pictures to be selected for an album.

When the person has no personal snapshots, an album from calendars and magazines can be created.
