Felt and fabric, as material objects, can be cut, glued, stitched, layered, overlapped, and adjusted with pressure and tension.

In ACL 4 High, they can make more complicated projects. The ability to hold an image in their working memory results in the person scanning their environment to find materials.

We have included this ladybird pattern for the person with a cognitive disability to enjoy. The instructions and pattern are downloaded from here.

The materials maybe prepared ahead of time by volunteers.

Felt, fabric and rickrack can be combined and all the pieces can be placed in an envelope for the valentine cards.

This is a set up that is ready for the start of a crafts group. The ribbon is pre-cut, with back-up ribbons to cut if someone wants their personal preferences to be honored. The hearts and diamonds can be pre-cut depending on the ACL scores of group members. When would you have to pre-cut and when can they cut them on their own?

Felt and fabric can be glued on anything. The small pieces and spacing problems place this gluing project higher than you might think at first, ACL 4.6 most of the time.
