Movement information becomes more refined but is still restricted. In ACL 4 High, they still lack the ability to coordinate between their left and right sides of their body. True bi-lateral tasks like using a pair of scissors to cut an irregular shape may not be performed satisfactorily. The ability to pick up smaller items becomes easier within ACL 4 High.
General movement from location to location is pleasant to the person. They have a better awareness of where they are. They are able to learn how to get to a new location with repeated rote learning. Beware that this information does fade over time so requires regular reinforcement.
